On my 98c, if i take my velocity adjuster screw out, can i still shoot the gun? Or will the air just come out through there? If i can shoot the gun, will the velocity be very high or very low?

You can still shoot it, but the velocity will be dangerously high. Don't do it.

So it won't hurt to shoot it. But, u just don't want to shoot someone with it?

I wouldn't even try shooting without it in. Even if you aren't shooting at someone, it can still be dangerous. You could be shooting it 400, maybe 500 fps. Why are you asking this anyways?

You can shoot it, but don't. The velocity will be at like 400 fps I believe. Just leave it in. If you accidently shoot someone with it out, it won't be pretty.

High power target shooting? And what is the point in that?

i believe that the nature of a round paintball, it would recieve turbulance at speeds such as 400 fps. That is why golf balls have dimples.

I dont think that the gun will be able to perform at 400 fps with a hole in the power tube. The air would try to excape through the easiest route, and there is nothing in the way of the velocity screw.

i saw some one get shot by a 98 with no velocity ajuster in and the guy who got hit had two broken ribs and a broken finger he wasn't too happy

The guy got his gun confiscated off him and he wasn't allowed to play at that field again

he deserved it any wayIt is illegal and you will get "severley punished"so please don't run it at that velocity

also your ball's will break a lot if you do

Some questions leave you scratching your head and asking why?  Why would you ever consider doing this?  ridiculous idea.  You could never play at any organized playing field and it would be unsafe at best to try to use an unregulated marker.  Use common sense or play something else.  We don't need irresponsible players in paint ball.

more velocity does not equal better accuracy. For a 98C your most accurate shots will be if your fps is around 270fps.
