when i remove the end cap of my a-5, is the hammer and the rest of the internals supposed to slide out???? because mine arent ------------- A-5

You need to have the tombstone removed, and the veloctiy screw needs to be flush.

if it is hard to slide out then loosen the 2 allen screws you have to take the pistol grip off and loosen the one that is to the left of the pin hole and the other one that is on the rear sight assembly as shown in pic

ok.... yesterday when i wanted to oil the o-rings in the internals, i thought that the internals would just slide out after you pull out the end cap. since the internals didnt come out, i thought something was wrong with my gun so i took the whole thing apart (receiver halves), then THE GUY posted saying i just had to take out the tombstone and such. i was kind of frustrated because i couldnt put it back together, then later i did. DARN IT "THE GUY" WHY COULDNT YOU HAVE POSTED EARLIER...... LOL JK ------------- A-5
