So
Darur (yes, another thread where Darur reffers to himself in the third
person) has realized that he has several old PCs worth of parts laying
around his house and hes in a tinkering mood right now. Basically I am wondering where I can find a motherboard that can run several proccessors for one PC. I have a Pentium 3, a decent but somewhat old AMD (forgot the specs) and a processor from another PC that will hopefully come soon. I know the brands are all different but is there anyway I can hook all these up and make a new, ok PC? I tried a few sites but I cant find anything. Ebay is your friend. You could build a PC for random tasks easy enough probly. I wish i had the parts laying around to put together a machine just for CNC. -------------

I've been trying Ebay but not getting a lot of success. Yeah, I'm startign to get results now, was looking in the wrong places. I think the idea is that he has a bunch of random computer stuff that he wants to play with, not that he wants a superior computing platform that he has to spend money on. |
