My friends and I only play woodsball so we have no way to check the fps on our guns. Last time I went I got shot and I think it ripped a muscle in my chest because it still hurts and this was about 2 weeks ago. (Since then I have bought a chest protector; Call me a wuss if you want but that’s the last time I play without having protection form unchecked guns)

So my question is; is it possible to get a cheap chronograph that is pretty accurate so we can use it before we play? If so, what kind would you recommend?

So are you going to buy protective equipment for every inch on your body, or are you gunna get a chrono?

My buddies and I chipped in for a nice one, worth every penny when it comes to safety.

Tell all your friends to chip in and help you buy it. That way you won't have to spend $80 yourself.

We just shoot that fat kid till he says ouch, then we take it down a notch.

In retrospect, we should probly buy a chrono.

I'm not going to call you stupid, just not smart.

I'd have all your friends chip in and buy a $80 Chrono they usally give you a VERY good estimate on wheere your shooting and there cheap.

Me personally I'd use the one from the County link or the one from Shenks link. There VERY compact and will fit in most any back pack/Gear Bag.

Also note that Shenks link goes to the chrono I linked to.

ok, so i got me a handheld shootin chrony but evertime it gives me a different reading. 1st reading was 375, ya i know, 2nd reading was 370 and it just kept dropping like that.

i wasn't adjusting the velocity or anything. does anybody else have this problem?

 heres how we chrono.

we find some fat stupid kid (me) to run around with his shirt off while being shot. if the balls break the skin the velocity is too high.

   remember safety first.

Good God man! I'd only go play with you guys in a full armor suit that knights used to wear!

As long as you get it below 280, you'll be fine.
