b2k4, hands down. it may be a brick, but with pds it is a sweet marker.

No and No. Get the B2K4. It's a way better speedball marker than the A-5. It's faster, doesn't have the cyclone, and already has a 2x trigger. As for the barrel. Get the AA.

You will regret buying the A-5 in a couple of months, it could never keep up with a b2k.

Not sure what a slide-on gun grip is.

Everything else seems fine. I prefer Lapco over the AA (I have both), but whatever floats yer boat... they're both good barrels.
You'll be fine with that setup.

I personally don't buy into the hype about one gun "keeping up" with another. People seemed to have forgotten about the whole concept of "skill". The B2K4 would have a higher ROF, but unless higher ROF is your only goal... then I ask "so what?".
My Timmy has the ability to shoot faster than my E-gripped A-5... but deciding what gun to use for a game typically depends solely on my mood... not on what gun "performs better". In my hands, they both perform the same.

If you weren't able to buy a decent HPA system anyway, then sticking with the A-5 would have been in your best interest regardless. Skimping out on an HPA system by purchasing a smaller tank isn't a worthwhile option. If you're going to buy an HPA tank... get a good one. You're not going to want to spend your time waiting in line at the fill station after every game.

E-gripped A-5 is fine. Whatever you decide to put on it is personal preference.
