| Me and a couple of my friends wanted to play in the snow this winter,and were wondering about what to use for bunkers and stuff. We were thinkin like ply wood and trash cans and stuff like that,stuff that would be portable. Need some more ideas. Thanks |

i've played in the snow, and it is not fun. repeat, NOT fun. you get bloody soaked, if you trip your marker gets water in it, if you slide into a bunker, count on yourself knocking it over -- you will not stop. its cold, so your skin tightens. when you get hit, it HURTS. it leaves wicked bruises. if you use co2, count on getting 25% less shots out of your tank. oh, and one more thing. when you come back inside with cold hands, do not put them in front of a toasty, inviting fire. your hands will hurt real bad because they just went from really cold and hard to really warm and soft. the transition (from experience) really sucks. oh, actually one more thing. make sure you use winter paint, else you will be chopping so much it's not even funny.

| i played in the snow and it's not as bad as he made it sound. only play in the snow if you have a nitro tank though, but i'm not a big fan of snow so me and my friends pay in a warehouse in the winter or on rainy days, because we play every sunday. other than that we got an awsome outdoor field with different setups, we got a speedball field that turns into heavy woodland with tree forts and stuff. much fun. |

Pallets. There free anywhere. Get some old blankets from
your mommy. Or from a yard sale. Or buy a huge tarp, not
too expensive, and lay it over the bunkers. It works.
Hardest part is getting the bunkers to stay up. Good Luck. Me and my friend have a nice one made of Pallets and old blankets from his mom. It halps if u have a 4 wheeler to drag stuff with, like things in the way such as trees. Good luck man, it's a good project. |

And dont put your hands under hot water to warm them up. It will hurt like a *bad word* and you could burn them pretty bad. Try not to put them even under warm water. ------------- I wand to buy an ION Second place in Young Gunz Tourny Div.3 Ambush paintball, surrey, bc, canada |

just dig foxholes and pile snow up and make bunkers. and if the snow insnt deep enough then just do wat they said and use pallets and plywood and thick cardboard boxes. i play in the snow all the time its awesome , when its deep enough(2ft or so) u can dive and stuff. Plus i play with a REAL gun so i dont worry about water and crap. by the way incase u didnt know i play with a TIPPMANN . i've never played in the snow, but it would be easy to point out where someone went by snow tracks in the first couple of rounds.
I guess an advantage is that when it's cold, people usally wear a lot of layers, so the frozen paintball may not hurt as bad as people might think. -------------

one of the best times i had was in the snow. I had just got my outkast with an hpa tank and it shot awesome..... everyone else had problems though..... it was about 10 below, and some markers wern't even cycling.... ------------- X |

I remember one time I was playing in the snow, and my 98c stopped cycling. Not fun, I thought I broke it. -------------
