Its someone I know, I don't hate it because of his political views, but
because he is for anything against Republican or Conservative.
Listen to what he says about Bush: (20:17:37) me: you know Bush claimed responsability for the aid taking so long right? (20:17:44) me: you have to admit thats a plus for him (20:17:45) him: duh (20:17:56) him: for the first time in his life Besides my spelling, what do you guys think about this and people like him? He also tells me NPR is the most neutral news media that there is. |

When I tell him that something is liberal, he gives me this definition: adj 1: showing or characterized by broad-mindedness; "a broad political stance" 2: having political or social views favoring reform and progress. 3: tolerant of change; not bound by authoritarianism, orthodoxy, or tradition. Tells me thats what we want, open minded people. Then I use left wing instead, he tells me "define left wing" |

As far as i am concerned Bush shouldnt have appologized. It wasnt his place to. That evacuation was a state and local affair, and aid cant get to a place any faster than the roads will let them. If the roads are blocked, your screwed six ways from sunday.

did you know that new orleans, didnt ask for help on evacuation until 5
days after the hurricane happend? Bush wanted to come in and help, but
you cant just send people in there like that, so he waited until they
asked for his help...anyway so ya

Political threads......
We could ask our freinds from the left who thier leader of choice is this week, and what thier opinion and words of wisdom are, on American and world events and how that person plans to change America and or the world if by chance they do get elected. But the position of the day has not been fowarded by the DNC yet (other than Bush is wrong and act angry). It is easy to critisize those in power from the safety of the loser side, but it is helpfull to actually have a position and or plan of your own before you launch your attacks, it does help your electorate to form an opinion and or position. And I do not think Hillary, Charlie, or even Diane are a real option, morally or otherwise to use as your alternative. -------------

| well i was watching CSNBC. They just happened to have the New Orleans city evacuation plan. It says that the mayor of the city is solely repsonsible for an evacuation in any sort of emergency. Then they asked the mayor why there were 500 buses but only about 30 working. So he decided to say that its hard to get all those drivers when most left. Once again mister mayor it's your responsibilty to make sure there are drivers as stated in the plan. Your fault mister mayor. Take it like a man. |
