It seems now that broadband is now much more common that dial-up so I just want to see how that stacks up on the tippy forum. And yes, if you didn't know this there is a satellite internet service known as Direct Way. -------------

That would be your internal network speed, not your WAN upstream/downstream speed. |

Provider is Allegiance Telecom. We are probably upgrading to OC3 soon, T3 just isn't cuttin it. |

I live too deep in the backwoods, Dial up is all that I can have. (Well satelite is a possibility, but it totaly blows).

I have broadband at home, but as I'm not home all that much I spend
most of my time online at wifi hotspots, such as the one I'm sitting in
now. I know where most of the free hotspots are in the city, many restaraunts and book stores have free access. Beats sitting in front of the computer at home. ------------- For I will wander to and fro, I'll go where I no one do know, |
