they can't, but it will snap off and shouldn't be a huge problem. |

They're going to do a field landing. Hopefully, the gear doesn't get caught on the ground. |

i'm putting two and two together for the stupider forumers: (from what i gather) a big plane's front landing gear is messed up, so they are more or less crash landing, but not as bad, in a field. they hope(?) the broken gear will simply snap off and not get caught up in the grass. -------------
