I don't know if the news were you guys live is saying the same thing that the news here is saying but they are theroizing that if rita hits the oil refinearies in texas gas could jump to five dollars a gallon. FIVE DOLLARS! WTF OVER! |

It will be atleast 4. They closed alot of the refinaries down there until it passes.

Even four dollars is insanely high. The biggest thing that pisses me off is the media. Think about it, with the media hyping it up they're definatly going to raise it to extremely high prices weather or not they get hit. |

Well, what does everyone expect?
The environmental movement will not allow any more refinerys to be built, and loathes the thought of drilling for domestic oil. This is exactly what we deserve for being so damn dependent on foriegn oil instead of tapping more into our own natural resources. So, I have said for some time and continue to say ...

thank god i dont have to worry about gas yet , yea i saw that on the news last nite. 5 dollars a gallon thats ridiculous , i think hybrids are going to become very popular. -------------
