Huhu! Let me first give an introduction! About a week ago I
received a new Tippmann 98 Custom for my birthday--Hooray! Days
after I went out to play a game of paintball with some friends and all
went well. Since then I have noticed a few things:
On the very top of the gun where two sides are connected some liquid
was leaking. I'm not sure whether it was oil or stray paint.
On the sides of the trigger something was "oozing" down them. Again, I'm not sure whether it was oil or paint.
And finally, the screws on the side of the gun seemed to have oil
or something surrounding them. It's just slightly noticeable.
Now, After the game of paintball I don't think I oiled the
gun THAT much, but who knows. I wasn't sure on what the
problem was so I decided to ask for some advice. Thanks for
reading!

Take it apart.
Clean everything.
Oil all the places that move, not to much, but you should get a nice film over the object.
Put everything back together.
And welcome to the forum.
