They're both great markers. If you play a lot of speedball then I'd have to say get the 98c, while if you play a lot of woods get the A-5. It's not that you can't use the A-5 for speed, or the 98c for woods; I'm basicly telling you what I would want to use. Go out and try em' both. Carbine is better for guys with time on their hands, I think. The A5 is a better gun, hands down. it's easier to field strip, it takes the E-Grip, and the cyclone feed (i hear) is great. -------------

both are great markers. It's really preference. I'd go test them both out before you get one and decide for yourself. Welcome to the forum ------------- NASA and the Americans spent millions of dollars and hundreds of hours to develop a pen that would write in space.....The Russians used a pencil. |

the a-5 is built for speed. and susuki u are asowome but i have to disagree with you ther, the 98c not great for speed ball at all, it is a renatal marker for woods. the 98c is a asoome gun but personaly i like the a-5 ------------- __||__ [ }------ =() =() //' || R THOSE MY BALLS ON UR FACE |

people should really stop asking which tippmann gun is better, all tippmann guns perform great, you just need to customize it to your specifications. ------------- 98% of ion owners think ions are better than any high end gun. If you would like to bonus ball these idiots put this in your sig. |
