Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I didn't know where else to put it.

On to my question...have any of you bought paintballs online or mail order?  CountyPaintball has an excellent deal on Draxxus Blaze (my regular paint of choice) and my local shop has none in stock and they sell them for about $15 more bucks a case.  If you have gotten paint through the mail, did you have any broken or bad paint, due to shipping and such?  Or should I just wait for my local shop and spend the extra dough?  Let me know, thanks....

Also, does anyone know where I can get the camo sandana?  Know one seems to have them anymore.

Ehh... That's you're choice. You could get a perfect case, or a horrible one. And did you mean Bandana?

No, I DID mean Sandana.  One like this http://www.xpaintball.com/sahe.html - http://www.xpaintball.com/sahe.html .  This place doesn't and says they won't carry these anymore.  Why they still advertise it, is anyones guess.

I used to buy paint from Action Village and had some broken paint every once in a while. I now order only form 888paintball.com, for about 10 months now, and have never had any paint broken in shipping.

It sometimes depends on the shipper also.

Both Action Village and 888 ship UPS. Action Village uses all kinds of packing matrial...from bubble wrap between inner and outter boxes to air pillows...both incorrect for very heavy items like boxes of paint. 888 uses noodles between inner and outer boxes...as I said, never a broken ball from 888.

For CountyPaintball, the shipping cost are about $9 for my zipcode.  I went ahead and ordered from them.  Mike emailed me back and said they do double box for protection.  I like to order from County just because their service is second to none and I always get my order at my doorstep within 48 hours.  (That's right 48 hours...my regular mail takes longer than that just to mail a card across the neighborhood.)

I order the 888paintball 5 box special. If I call on the phone to place the order it is shipped out of a CA wearhouse and arrives in 2 days. It costs $20 shipping. So add $4 per box cost for shipping. Makes a case of Heat cost $35.

We've shipped thousands of cases of paint over the years with only a couple reported cases of breakage. Those that did have trouble were the cheaper brands, like RecSport. If you buy the decent paint like Blaze there shouldn't be a problem. We use the foam peanuts to help keep the paint from shifting around much in transit.

Good paint, delivered to your door. :)

Mike, I didn't know you read these forums.  You guys are the best.  Fast service and outstanding communications.  Like I said, CountyPaintball is second to none, that's why I order from them for all my paintball needs.  (I should have never doubted...)

Also check with your local field/pro shop for a box of mixed paintballs. You can get them online too, though I might not because you don't know what you're getting. It's cheap ($30 for 1000) and if it's a decent mix (most are) it's worth it.

That site looks good... I've seen cheaper, but the customer service sounds great.

$30 for 1000 isn't really that great of a deal. Our Blaze is like $42 for 2000 rounds. Even with shipping, we're still cheaper and we do pack the paint well to keep it safe during shipping.

Thanks
Mike

Just wanted to let everyone know...I got my paint from CountyPaintball Online.  As usual, it arrived within 48 hours.  I checked all four bags and no broken balls.  One bag was quite dimpled, though, but that isn't the fault of shipping or handling, it could have been a bad batch, since it was only one of the bags.  My local shop inspects the balls first before handing them over, but I can't expect an online place to do that.  For the money it was well worth it...I'll be buying my paint from County from now on...Thanks Mike...
