So, in light of my boredness, I just started wondering what everyone had been listening to lately, in more than just one genre.

So just post your three most listed to songs as of lately in each genre. (Feel free to add a genre, because of things like metal and such, I do not listen to much of...)

Acoustic

1- David Killians "Only one for me"

2- Pink Floyd's "Wish you were here"

3- Copeland "Brightness (Acoustic)"

Alternative Rock/Rock

1- Thrice "Artist in the ambulance"

2- Nadasurf's "Popular"

3- Slipknot/Stonesour "Black Heart.

Rap

1- Pitbull ft. Lil Jon "305 Anthem"

2- Juelz Santana "There it go (The whistle song)

3- Mike Jones "Whatcha know about?"

Indie

1- Bright eyes "Haligh, Haligh, a lie, Haligh

2- Will Mckim "In the eye of the beholder"

3- Dashboard Confessional "I am missing"

Alright, now I realize everyone doesn't consider one band to be in one genre (such as Dashboard), but instead of catagorizing, let it just be loose interpritation.

People like you suck.

If slipknot wasn't popular, thousands of wannabe underground kids would think they found the next big thing, and then wouldn't like them once they got big because it's not cool anymore.

Your more predictable than the mainstream, so get off you high horse of music immorality, and leave my thread.  Because I and others only get pissed at your ability to stay close-minded.

Probably will.  I'm not even saying I like that band.  It's just one song.

I don't like TMV for the most part, but I'm sure I could find one song I would like.

And I'm not going to tell another person his music is lame when nothing was said to me first.

I'm just sick of Ced posting in every single music thread saying everything sucks.

Honestly, if you don't like it, don't post.  But his feeble mind can't understand that people have different taste in music.

Working quite well.  Actually most girls don't know I listent acoustic stuff unless the hear my play, which mostly only my close friends or g/f's have.

You obviously have no earthly idea why I like acoustic music.  I like it because it's alot easier to play.  You can hear it, and play it, without alot of drums and pedals distorting what it really is.  Acoustic is acoustic, and if a song sucks, you know it.

So get your head out of your ass thinking you know why I listen to a certain genre of music.  Most people know me as the rock guy anyway, because that's what I listen to in my truck.

I'm suprised that someone as liberal as you can stereotype someone so quick...

Hrmmm.

To retort, you went for the following options

  • Play it off like I didnt make fun of you
  • Brag about having a girl
  • Claim to listen to rock
  • Brag about friends
  • Toss out the 'Liberal'

Nice lineup.

You really love to distort, don't you?

Honestly, what does me listening to music have anything to do with my g/f?  Because I talk to them on the phone, or they're with me, they have heard me play.  I must have been bragging about I have some friends to, cause I mentioned that as well.  I do listen to rock, who are you to tell me what I listen to?

Heres what I've detailed from you.

Your an arrogant ass who thinks who knows all and is the music mecca and diagnose anyone to their music stereotype just by judging them.

Good job Dr. Phil

I actually went to go watch David Killian at a new age coffee shop near Gastonia.  It was amazing.

Then around 2 weeks later, I went and saw Crossfade at the handlebar.  It was good as well.

Would you like to make any more assumptions when your in the judging mood?

You seem to know me so well, whats going to happen tomorrow?  Ohh wait, I'm listening to crazy train by Ozzy, what age is my hair going to fall out?

Get a life....

What difference do my pants make in relation to my music taste?

And my shorts were $20.  But even if do wear AE and AF, it doesn't mean I can't listen to Bright Eyes with the scene kids of From autumn to ashes with the emo kids.

Quit trying to fit me into a stereotype, because I'm not in one.

Just asking...

What difference do my pants make in relationship to my music taste?

And my shorts were $20.  But even if do wear AE and AF, it doesn't mean I can't listen to Bright Eyes with the scene kids of From autumn to ashes with the emo kids.

Quit trying to fit me into a stereotype, because I'm not in one.

Damn, how did you know I like camping too!!!!  You are good!

Actually, due to stereotypcial analyzation, because you listen to Mike Jones.  Wether or not you actually like her, you do.  Sorry, it's in the whale handbook.  I'm not good at this judging stereotype things, I just enforce the obviously well thought out rules....

Queensryche - Empire (Rock?)
Brad pasely- Alcohol (country)
50 Cent- Lil bit(?) (rap)

I find it amusing how just a lil subject like this turns into a free for all on some one just because they like a certain type of music.
And to the one that is pursuing the arguement i would advise u to just shut your mouth and stay out of this thread if you dont like people jumping on you.

I don't mind people jumping on me if they have a valid reason.  Simply not liking someones taste in music is not a valid reason.

He doesn't even to take into consideration that one of his chat friends dresses just like me and contradicts his on points within 5 post' of each other...
