I have a pretty sick idea for a new hopper,  all I need to do now is think it through all the way,  I'm pretty sure I could do it though.

I want to make a long container type thing,  the length of the top of the gun,  about 3 balls wide and 4 balls high that fits to the top of my 98c.
So now I won't have this big ugly hopper to look at,  I'll be a much smaller target  and I won't have my sight blocked (by the hopper).

I calculated that out and it adds up to about 150 balls.
That's not to bad seeing as MOST hoppers only hold around 200.
The tricky part is going to be getting the balls into the breach.
Well if you could get a flat piece of plastic that fits inside  the "hopper" and have some thin "arms"  sticking out either side,  you could attatch a light rubber band from these arms to the front of the gun,  thus constantly pulling the balls forward to the breach.  It has to be a light enough rubber band though cause if it's to hard it'll get the balls stuck and they won't drop into the breach AT ALL.
I know I could do THIS  by myself,  but if tippmann made these into CLIPS that you could carry around and when one runs out you pull out a fresh one and put the old one into your back pocket so you could reload it later,  man that'd be sweet.

The image I'm getting is something like the FN P-90 feed system.

Am I close?

Thats what I was thinking, but that would get in the way asmuch as a regular hopper on a 98.

Yeah that's like exactly what I was thinking.
How would it be in the way?  I just thought that'd be SOOO much easier to  see around then that huge bulky hopper.
And plus, you're a much smaller target with this new hopper thingy.

The closest thing to what you want is a feed tube for pb pistols and the longest feed tube is on the Special Ops Long Bow (AGD Tac One) which only holds 20 balls

That's a very rough image of  the "hopper".
That  little picture with the arrow pointing to the back  would be able to slide forwards and backwards.  Just hook some thin rubber bands to the sides of it  to keep the balls moving to the loading breech.

Go to your local hardware store and just look around as to what you can use. It sounds like you want someone to show you how to do it, but noone can.

Do it, and then show us how to do it.

Alright,  Well  my dad says we're gonna be using PVC pipe.
I'm not sure how we're gonna stick it on top,  that shouldn't be to hard.
The hard part will be making sure the balls feed constantly.
Once I get this all put together I'll post a pic of it.
