i've heard a lot about this movie coming out. supposedly it's supposed to be "the most anticipated movie of the summer." not sure what all the hype is, except for the fact that it's totally ridiculous. i think they're advertising it as a comedy as well. -------------

The whole point was a few guys got drunk and wrote a hilariously stupid script with the name 'Snakes On A Plane". Samuel L. Jackson somehow stumbled across it and was instantly taken by it. They tried to change the name and he vetoed it. It's supposed to be uproariously ludicrous and stupid. And I love them for it. They actually went back and did some reshoots to make it more obscene based on fan demand drummed upo online. This could well be the start fo a new movie phenomena- fan-driven movies.
