You have nearly 200 posts but you waste the space on the forum with that!? There are currently too many threads dealing with sniper v no sniper arguments so if the question was genuine then you should have a look first. Secondly ARE YOU INSANE?

Definetly get an Angel with a flatline barrel. You'll be pwning so many n00bs, you'll be 1337. And they do hurt a lot. People will start having to wear extra clothes when they go against you. Oh, and definetly get an infared scope. Very handy for those night games.

If you think vanilla is better than chocolate, than to you it is better. If you think chocolate is better than vanilla, than it is better to you.

lol if ppl think thers snipers in paintball, then fine they think theirs snipers to you. If you dont think theres snipers in paintball then find thers not snipers to you.

It is an opinion lol.

Now as for 'sniper paintball guns' it is not the paintball gun. If you are good, you could be a 'sniper' with a brass eagle lol. I would recomend something that runs on HPA because that is more consistant than co2. I recomend a C3 that runs on propane, or an a5, for speed and accuracy with HPA (with a5).

If you play at night a lot, and have the money go for an infered. If you dont, just get a simple red dot scope. Paintballs cannot break consistantly, let alone travel as far as a 3x or higher power scope. a red dot sight would be best. (recomend ACDO red dots)

----------------BT Apex i beleive is better than the flatline. And easier on paint.------

Well what if you got an angel to tippmann barrel  adapter  and stuck the flatline on that without the whole cover piece?

Hah  I'd never do it  because  it's just stupid.

But would that actualy work?

This is very similar to what I alway think of answering to these, except I would recommend hand crafting a 30" brass barrel and using a 15 power scope.  (Does anyone else have evil thoughts like this or is it just me and Sgt Duck.)

Thunderpants,

If you're seriously interested in this topic, do a search.  There's lots of information on both sides of the sniper-no sniper argument out there and, as a bonus, you only have to read the flaming that was done earlier as opposed to getting personally flamed.

P.S.  I'm kind of between the two camps on this argument.  I think there are no snipers (real life/TV version) in paintball, but there are a very few paintball snipers.  I will also add one thing that everyone from both sides of the argument will probably agree with:  It's not the marker, it's how you use it.

hey hey hey. He obviously wants a gun that gives him more range and good accuracy. It probably wasnt the wisest thing to add sniper in the topic title but w.e.

So now what you said about angels hurting more i not true. All guns can "hurt equaly" by setting the fps high or low(but why the hell you want to hurt people?) I can get a $40 gun to shot as "hard" as a $600 gun.

Last time i checked you cannot put a flatline on an angel.

If you want a gun with good accuracy and rather rage you would want to go with a simple 98 Custom or A5 with Flatline barrel. 98/A5 are probably one of the most reliable guns on the market.

With range taken care of, you now want accuracy. Think about a Regulator (whether you deside to use Co2 or HPA Palmer regs are great). This will amke your gas more consistant which will aid in better accuracy. You might also want to consider getting HPA,N2,Compressed Air (all the same). This will make the gun alot more consistant... leading to better accuracy.

After that you might want to by a cheap sighting system.... ADCO sights are good and pretty cheap.

You are all set, if you want to you can put a remote coil on ANY gun you buy.

Kevin

^^^Yeah, I like the flatline, although I wouldn't put it on an Angel (if I could even get near an angel)

Thunderpants has started multiple threads like this he wants you to flame him then argue about snipers. He has purposely used topics that are controversial. I wouldn't insult his intelligence by thinking his question was genuine.

Quite funny though.

co2 on an Angel?  go for it.

Get your wallet out, go to a milling shop and have someone make an adapter for a Flatline for your Angel.

Have fun

Adapt a Flatline to that new Tippmann pump, that would be cool.
