^^Well, there ya' go. And look in the marker gallery for more pics; theres tons in there. And the Male might not look the best, but the performance defiantly makes up for that.

Ok. I was hoping it would  be in the same position as this one on an A5. I think this one looks alot better.

^^If you want it closer to the trigger like on an A-5, then follow these directions http://www.geocities.com/tcxchris/foregrip.html - http://www.geocities.com/tcxchris/foregrip.html .

What is the vertical silver cylinder directly in front of his trigger?

Could either be a regulator or part of the LPK.  My guess it's part of the low pressure kit, since he has an HPA tank on the gun...

^^That's the LP Chamber that comes with the LPK.

LPK allows you to use alot lower pressure to operate your marker, when using HPA.  The kit gives you (I think) a pressure chamber, a vertical adapter and a lighter bolt.  Personally, I don't think it's necessary.   Just get a Palmer's and set the reg to your desired velocity and your done.  If you use CO2 with the Palmer's, you'll find that you increase your gas usage efficiency slightly, since you can now lower the pressure required to use your marker.  Before I had my Palmer's, I got about 1100-1200 shots out of a full 20oz. CO2, now I get between 1450 and 1550 shots.  It's a big difference, I know, but the last two times out, that's how many shots I went through before the infamous BBBUUURRRRRRPPPPPPPP!!!!

Ok, getting back on task here, I really am leaning away from the male stab. b/c i really hate how it looks and it looks like it will be harder to hold.

Yeah, I went for the female for two reasons...One..it's extremely easy to install.  Just remove the stock ASA and put the female stab in its place (get the clamp kit for the 98).  Two...I didn't like the idea of holding onto the reg, to support the gun, becuase the hose still comes out of the side of the reg, so you'd have to grab that, too, and that can get pretty cold if you decide to shoot fast.

Ok. Spud, what all did you ahve to buy to put on your female? Just the stab itself, or did you have to buy abunch of other things as well?

Not that I don't mind answering your questions, but you could probably get all the info you need from http://www.palmer-pursuit.com - http://www.palmer-pursuit.com .  You could even call them at (916) 923-9676  and talk directly to Craig Palmer, himself.  Their customer service is outstanding...They would be able to answer your questions alot better than myself...

I just bought the female stabilizer with the mounting ring kit...

Stab:

http://www.countypaintball.com/product_description.asp?item=2492 - http://www.countypaintball.com/product_description.asp?item= 2492

Ring Kit:

http://www.countypaintball.com/product_description.asp?item=2603 - http://www.countypaintball.com/product_description.asp?item= 2603

Buy them seperate and not as a kit.  For some reason it's cheaper....

Skitz = official n00b of the day

is the mounting kit manditory for it to work or does it just help stabilize it better?

Heh, I'll spend $17 over a redneck gun any day. I just wasn't sure if that was the only way to mount it, or if it just made it more stable.

Good luck.  BTW, I noticed by your sig-line, you're going to get the J&J 14"...wise choice.  From my personal experience, that barrel can rival any high price barrel anytime of the day.  Also, I have yet to have a single ball break in either my barrel or marker.  Call it luck, but I've shot many cases of paintballs, both cheapo Wal-Mart Scorch and various Draxxus, and not a single break.  If anyone else were to tell me that, I probably wouldn't believe them, but for some reason it's true.  I've even once been shot down the barrel, and shot right back and my shot cleaned the barrel out, just as advertised.

Mine is selling them for $45. I originally was going to get one off of 1stcall for $30, but I need it in the next few days for an upcoming match. And it would be alot easier to buy in person, so I think thats the route I'm taking. Thanks.
