My very first gun was the VL Orion, which I got for about $50. However, a Spyder by Kingman can also be a good choice. Then buy a 12 oz. CO2 tank and a JT Spectra or something that won't fog up. ------------- Overshooting, America's greatest pastime. |

For $50, there really isn't too many great choices, but check out the SP progressive, or maybe a Custom Products barrel, as they're pretty good. ------------- Overshooting, America's greatest pastime. |

Hmm...I'm not really sure. If I were him I'd just keep the marker stock. Let him play with that for awhile and he can save for a better marker and gear while he plays. I really wouldn't recommend putting a lot of money into that marker. Let him play around with that for a year or so and get some experience. Then he will be ready to upgrade and he will have saved up enough money. ------------- NASA and the Americans spent millions of dollars and hundreds of hours to develop a pen that would write in space.....The Russians used a pencil. |
