I promised spudcrazy I'd post this too long ago, so here goes:

She's not the flashiest thing in the world, but she's about as functional as I can make her (so far ).  Here's a front view:

As for upgrades, the list is as follows:

DOP Pro-Seal power tube

DOP RVA (now removed since adding the Stabilizer)

DOP Rocket-cock II

Dark Horizon  Rear ‘Lite’ Titanium Hammer

Maddman Spring Kit

GTA Double Trigger (Sanded to Blade-style)

Cyclone Feed Hopper

Lapco BigShot 12" Barrel

Fighter-X Long Drop Forward

Palmer’s Female Stabilizer

(Polished internals)

(Lightened trigger spring)

(Silenced sear spring)

Next will likely be either an Apex or Flatline barrel...but I'm leaning toward the Apex...

Nah, I say it looks perfect with the 98C marker....I think I'm gonna end up gettin' one, too...

I hear ya.  I started drooling the minute I first saw that drop online...but I was still using my imagination...and printed cut-outs ...to get an idea of what it would actually look like on the marker.  It's the perfect size for the set-up.  She's perfectly balanced at the rear handle with the 16oz tank in place.  Plus the tank cradles nicely into my shoulder, so I can pull it in nice and tight for getting around bunkers.  It's a little different since I put the stabilizer on it (compared with the stock ASA), since the ASA gave it a slight angle, whereas the stabilizer angles the tank straight back (I'm thinking of getting some sort of wedge insert to fix this, though).

As for the r/t idea, I'd love to, but two things hold me back.  First, I can't afford to feed the beast on anything other than semi .  Secondly, and perhaps most important, is the fact that the DH lite titanium hammer won't work with the r/t.  The hammer's so lite it won't reset the sear.  C'est la vie...

As in "how is it made 'lite'", or as in "how well does it work for me"?

*grin*

Quite well.  It's literally about half the weight of the stock.  There's hardly any kick to the marker at all now (people who are used to using 98c's are amazed when they fire it), the air consumption decreased (I'm guessing not as much force needed to blow the hammer back into position), and I just found it to have a much smoother 'feel' that the standard hammer operation...of ocurse, the lack of kick is probably a major factor in that, but i think it's the different material composition as well.   Over all, I'm a happy camper.

The cyclone feeder is awesome.  It does use extra air, but the gun was efficient enough to take it.  Before the cyclone, I used to get close to 1100 shots from a 16oz tank (a combination of the DOP Proseal and the titanium hammer).  Not sure what I get now, but it isn't what it used to be, lol.  It's certainly wider than a standard hopper, but it's also about an inch and a half lower to the gun than it used to be, which is a decent compromise in my mind...makes a lower profile over bunkers, and such.

I honestly have never seen a cyclone feeder chop a ball before...until the last 'Big Game' here.   My friend and I each have a cyclone on our 98c's.  Long story short, the weather was humid and hot, and the paint was so bad, alot of it was literally brick shaped.  We each broke one or more balls in the cyclone, but not until the end of the day...we each noticed a decline in performance about the same time, and since it as close to end of day, we packed it in, and took 'em apart to clean 'em.  They were both a gooey-orange inside.  So, they're not completely break-proof, but they're close.  I guess anything will break balls under the worst conditions...but other than that day, it's worked wonderfully, and kept up with me as well as any electric hopper I've ever used.  Plus I won't be buying batteries anymore!!

Let me consider that for a moment...

...

...

NO!

Seriusly, I got it from http://www.darkhorizoncorp.com/index.asp - Dark Horizon.   It's been a real nice addition.  Expensive, but nice...of course, that's what Christmastime and family are all about, right?
