An xchamber helps with the co2 spikes that occur. Like if you chrono a gun, it might be say, 250, then 220 then maybe 260. The xchamber stabilizes it and makes it more consistent. I have one and I love it. It makes your co2 last a bit longer and helps with accuracy as well.

Yes, it does. And say more consistent, not even ( makes you sound smarter  ).

A Palmers stabilizer will do a lot more for your C02 in terms of stabilizing it and keeping each shot consistent with the last. It's a little more expensive then an X-Chamber but you get what you pay for.

^^What? An X-chamber for $50? I don't know where you get your prices from, but on County you can get the DOP X-Core for $20 (which is one of the best out there).

If I said it was a lot more, the chances of him even looking into it would be smaller.

Go for the x-chamber....my advice to you is first get the GTA Inline x-chamber kit, cuz it comes with everything you need, VA, Hose, X-chamber, it isn't too bad of a x-chamber to start out with.....Then get the Dead on 8 Stage x-chamber, later on

I presume you are shooting CO2 - keep in mind that an x-chamber does no good at all if you have nitro.  So if you plan on going nitro at some point, a Stabilizer is a better bet, as it works well with both CO2 and nitro.

Best x-chambers on the market are ACI 4-stages and 6-stages. DOP X-cores too.

Thainks for the info guys i appreciate it

Like im wondering if it will keep the fps the same as my co2 tank gets low

Will it? sorry for the dumb questions

It should but with an X-Chamber you'll still get chrono readings rangin from 267 254 287. I know that because I have an 8 stage x-core. You'll be much better off getting a stabilizer. That will keep your readings around 280 282 281.

If money is an issue, definately go with an Xchamber.

Cause im just tired of lobbing balls half of the length they ususally go when my tank starts to get empty and i jus want to fix this dilema

^^Sorry, but with an X-Chamber I believe it will still do this. See, what happens is the pressure in the Co2 tank drops, which in turn causes the length of the shots to decrease.

For the price of a Palmers Stabalizer, you could buy a low grade Pure Energy HPA tank...

If you get an x-chamber, you are going to have to get the vertical adapter. So the cost now is like $50-$60. You can get a female palmer stablizer for $70 and the adapter kit (replaces your ASA) to install it with for $17 at countrypaintball.com. With the palmer's stablizer, you CO2 will run about as consistant as you can get it which will typically be 3-5+/- FPS. If you are dead set on getting an x-chamber, the more stages/chambers it has, the better it will preform, but it won't come close to the consistancy of a palmer's stablizer.
