I recently tried out the "sniper hopper" idea, and I got some felt, cut out the pattern, and hotglued it to my hopper. It works great! I put 50 paintballs in my hopper, and shook it, and you could hardly hear them!

I was wondering if they would feed down quick enough, seeing as the felt is somewhat sticky; but they do. They fed perfectly for my T98, but I don't know about the full autos.

I would recomend this to all! A very cheap way to improve your game. My friends all said they would give me 10$ buck to do theirs.

Just expect to have to redo it fairly regularly.

Over time, the felt will soak up oils... which will weaken paintballs stored inside... which will result in breaks.

I can imagine this idea being even more helpful in pods; the only way to get them to stop is to pack them so tight they break or get flat spots.

you can cut foam to fit your pod lids so that the balls dont rattle, and it wont crush them either, you may reduce your fill count by a few balls, but makes the pods quiet.
