I have a fairly large amount of knives, most aquired through scouting trips. I got this badboy from a trading post in Tuckahoe, PA:
3" blade, 4" handle, with stainless steel silver things on the handle and the white part is ivory. The other knives I have aren't worth taking pics of, they're either standard swiss army or stupid little lock blades. I'm getting http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://myknifesource.com/topten/ka-1217sheath.jpg&imgrefurl=http://myknifesource.com/topten/nine.htm&h=154&w=283&sz=5&tbnid=k5nV9b2r11IJ:&tbnh=59&tbnw=110&hl=en&start=1&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dworld%2Bwar%2BII%2Bsheath%2Bknife%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DG - this one soon.

It's not the exact one I own but they are all the same. Not exactly "cool" but I use it almost every day.

Some of our large knives-

From bottom going clockwise. Original German WWII K98 bayonet (11in I think). Original (Vietnam era) M-7 bayonet 7in I beleive. Crappy replica Hitler Youth knife. Original German WWII fighting knife, not common. (not pictured- USMC K-BAR. Ground-dug US WWI shortened bayonet. Probaly some more.)
Yes, we collect WWII things.

there are many types of stilettos. the most universal being the classic "switchblade" of the 1950's. Technically, any knife with a spring used to actually propell the blade is considered a switch (and illegal), like with a button or something. Assisted opening knives are just that, assisted. it takes a person's effort on the blade itself to open it, so they are legal.
Im like a knife god. im more obsessed with knives and swords than i am of paintball. got a question on knives, ask me!
My pride and joy is a genuine military officer's sword from the 60's. i value it around $350.

Says jumpy-kicky guy. I think the Okinawans would beg to differ on that statement. But martial-arts nerdy stuff aside, actual kamas of course have steel blades. More practice stuff, so DeTrevni loses more points.

I have a pair of practice Kamas, I agree, no reason to use them. I practice with full steel blades now.
Chucks, on the other hand....I used to have the macho mindset of "Who needs foam rubber chucks." A couple good self inflicted bruises later and I buy a pair of foam covered ones to work with.

Disagree - a couple of bruises are the best learning tool out there. I used rubber chucks long enough to learn that they are useless. The weight and feel is all wrong.
The kama, on the other hand serve a purpose, as learning with steel can be deadly...

actually, clark, i got them off a guy who was actually officially training, like instructed. they are not solid rubber, and have a dense core for weight balance. they hurt sumthin fierce if you hit em right. also, the practice kamas dont kill things, so i can whack my friends with them. i like the practice things. they are fun.

Try smacking yourself in the face with an Escrima going full tilt....not that I have done that....or anything....
Heh, I have done both Escrima and Tonfa, and I have learned to put on batting gloves when I practice at full speed. People do not like holes in their walls.

*with crocidile dundee accent* thats not a knife, this is a knife.
first. the s&w boot knife was a gift from my best friend while in the army. second is the large survival knife i bought just to have, and its razor sharp due to the old man i took it too at a flea market who sharpens knives. the one on the top right is a off brand of a kabar knife, dunno the real name, also razor sharp. and perfect for hacking at stuff. its like a mini machette or cleaver. and then the actual ak47 bayonette with sheath that i got from iraq. the knife hooks to the sheath to make wire cutters.

Stileto doesnt really describe the type of blade. Stileto is an italian company that manufactures switchblades.
