A few years ago I could when I played alot more regularly. Since the summer I started playing basketball off and on with some coworkers and have only been able to grab the rim on a 10 footer.
I started back on a workout routine this past month that will work out my calves to get my hops dunk worthy. Being six foot with an eight foot reach sure helps alot and I used to have alot more lower body strenght from skating alot more. To bad I learned to drive and gave up skating. -------------

I didn't get mine till I was 18, and people would talk smack seeing me walking....at least I didn't turn out fat like them. I actually blew out my knee playing basketball and I'm not real sure if I could dunk right now, but I get at it for a white boy. LOL |

^hehe, I hate that stereotype, because I'm white and can jump, but also because of you look at the Olympics or any track and field, most of the best high-jumpers are NOT black...they're white!

Clark kent and cdacda, no offense but are you familiar with basketball at all?
I was throwing down dunks in high school that would put any of those skanks to shame, and I was just a skinny 6'foot white boy. And that girl who won the dunk contest was GIVEN it unfairly...she didn't win the event by being the best performer/athlete. No offense to female basketball players, a lot of them have skills, but not in dunking whatsoever. |

I was under the impression that there was only one ever dunk recorded by a women as per a few years ago.
Maybe I was thinking at a high school level. Still even it the ladies can get up in the air, I am pretty confident that in top condition I could outshine them. They would probably whip me in fundamentals such as layups, dribbling, and outside shots but I think I could out dunk a lady. -------------

Actually, 2 recorded dunking I believe. Lisa Liesle at the WNBA all star a couple years ago. And, that high school girl in the Mcdonalds dunk contest. |

A few can, they just suck at it. There's more than just those 2 that have/can dunk, but the point is they all really suck at it. |
