So i deiced my gun need new paint job.. Lol.. So now past 2 weeks or so iv been sanding and getting paint off. and chopping up the read site. The top of the gun and the Tippmann 98 c on the side.. When time comes for paint.. Ill be doing an orange metal flake.. Or Some type nice orange.. Yes there some paint left on it.. Theres 2 different ways to do it.. Take all the paint off. Then paint it giveing the paint harder finsh.. Or just take little paint off/just get it rough.. Then paint it.. But it gives it a more mushy feel.. And can chip off esayer
Thats what i thought too.. It intertans me..

| i did the same to my A-5, the hardest part is the sights took me forever... then i painted it purple... you would believe how many "purple tippmann!?!?!?!?!" i got at the field... i wanna strip it down and paint it something else.. probley flat black... so my dad told me that i (and you) should cover it in Zinc cromium (SP) it helps the paint stay on for longer the only problem is you have to do a base coat (white) and then at least 2 coats of the color you want. |
