Hey. I am currently having a problem with my trusty old SL-68 2. Sometimes the trigger has to be squeezed 3-4 times before the marker will fire. A few times the marker has to be "re-pumped" before it can be fired. I never have had this problem before, the marker is about 3 years old and has been cared for. It was last used about 7 months ago, but was cleaned and oiled after use. CO2 is used and the tank was approximately 1/2 full. Any assistance or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe some worn trigger and sear parts?

Thanks, I thought of that. They look pretty good, don't appear worn, so I am not sure. I will probably live with it and hope it goes away and eventually take it to a "gunsmith".

the sear that catches the front bolt has a roll pin that it pivots on, sometimes it comes halfway (or completly) out wich lets the sear go to high. take it apart and make sure the pin is in it's proper place. this would explain why you have to recock sometimes too.

found this pic in another thread check the roll pin and make sure the sear pivots smoothly if it has any hangups at all clean the sides with a file
