Hey guys. Just have a quick question for you.Is the o ring in the valve a special one or is it just a normal one?Thanks.

Yes, they take the little bus to school. Make sure you use original o-rings in the valve. Get the o-ring kit from Tippmann, you'll end up using all of them eventually.

Ha Ha good one. But is the oring different? Maybe thats why my air is leaking from the valve. Had to change that oring and figured it was the same as any normal ring.

should be a regular one.

 

ya i know this sounds gross, but whatever it works

b4 i play sometimes i lick the oring on my tank, it seals it better

or a little vasoline on the oring extends the life of it by a little bit.

so maybe u would know why my a5 is leaking at the valve? i thought it could be the wrong kind of oring but maybe u have another idea?

Did you replace the o-ring? If it looks worn out or cracked, dump it and get another one on there.

yes, the oring is different, it is a little bit thicker.

Thanks for the advice. I did buy a replacement parts kit and received a new valve from tippmann. So everything is working awesome on Tippy. (Yes, we named her tippy).
