Looks good. My only complaint is that you have parts from so many different guns. It doesn't match up. Nice paintjob though.

It's not supposed to be a replica of any particular weapon. So I didn't
feel obligated to keep to any regimented design.

It's alright, I'm not really digging the SAW stock with the AK mag though.

I've collected quite an array of stocks ranging from the JCS Folding
stock to the 6 position CAR stock and several in-between. The SAW
is probably a temporary addition. I'll probably go back to the JCS
Folder eventually.

You do great work, but I'm not a fan of the SAW stock, drop foward, bipod, or unpainted hopper on this one.

The paint is Floquil and I used an airbrush to apply it.

The colors are: Earth, Engine Black, Roof Brown and Dark Green.
Follow it up after drying with Testor's Dull coat...light coats.

I have noticed that the SAW stock is a little higher than any other stock so you would have a clearer line of sight if you were to put a reflex of other sight on it. (highly recommended)

Thanks for the compliments. The flames don't bother
me. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I mentioned
I have several stocks and I just put the 6 position
TAPCO CAR stock on the marker and it looks pretty
good. I like to try different things some of which work
and some don't. But since it's my marker, I usually
do what I want to them. I've sold two of my other
customized A5's you may remember, the G36 and
the one posted several months ago with the AK
drum mag on it. So I'm now down to two A5's that
are pretty much configured the same. The TAPCO
stocks are very high quality items and I personally
like either. As for painting the hopper - not gonna
happen because the hoppers get hit too much in
play. And painting any component that gets a lot of
use like the grip or stock usually means continually
touching up the work.

Looks awesome man. Good job. I think it might look a little better with the grip and stock painted. Then again I see your point of the paint getting wore off of those parts. Very nice!

Precisely!!! Plus, I've since put the CAR stock on the gun...trying to
see what works best. I'll probably paint it when I make the final
decision.

It looks like you went rifling through a box full of milsim parts and just randomly threw whatever looked good at the time on it...

To each his own I guess.
