That's the one I resurrected. I'm thinking it needs a new barrel, maybe a new grip. Paintjob even? Who knows. I think this is something I'm going to tinker with. Note beat up 9oz tank and BE 45 round hopper I tried to paint camo without first scrubbing it with steel wool soaked in paint thinner to prep it.

What type of barrel?  You know you can use any m16/ar15 grip.  Do you prefer overmolded rubber or hard plastic?

It's an SL-68, not an SL-68II so that's the way they're set up. I have a JnJ on the way from county, I didn't feel like ruining a barrel just so i could retrofit another barrel to work. As for grips, the one on there isn't bad, it's slightly different than an actual M-16 grip in the fact that it has more of a curved backstrap. I honestly think rubber overmolded grips are more comfortable, but I can live with hard plastic. I kinda want to get one in green or coyote. Although I'm sure I could find them in yellow or some awful color. I might even powdercoat the gun a whole different color, and I think I might make a new forend for it over the winter. I finally got to shoot it, the accuracy was better than my 98's stock barrel, but not as good as my bigshot. Also it seemed to break quite a lot of paint for a pump. But then again, it was crappy paint and it was cold.
