Has anybody seen/tried one of these yet?  There are no reviews up on PBR yet, and I may be in the market for a fast hopper soon...

I've never personally used one, but the general consensus is split: Some love the VL thingy, others hate it and want to keep their Halos.

This is my useless comment for the day.

They look aight. But I'd take the Reloader B over one of those. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what they're like.

From what I read, it doesn't seem to have anything over the Halo B.

I heard that it has anti jam software (much like cheeta and the new WAS boards) and thats it faster then a Halo.
But seriously, a halo and reloader B are fast enough. You wont be maxin them out unless you're massively ramping.

And, it fugly.

I'm not worried about ramping so much as my madly bouncing RT Pro.  It easily outshoots my Egg, and is right on the edge of what a borrowed HALO could do, with occasional skips.

I don't mind the look so much - I'm just worried about quality.

I have found that the Halo B can be tuned a bit to reduce/prevent skips, but truly it is not a real 20 bps hopper. More like a 16 bps machine with no skips. When you get above 17 it starts to skip a ball every 6 to 10 shots...sometimes 2 balls in a row. Different drive cones and more preload can help.

But I'd give a new design on the market at least a year before sinking that much money into it. At least get 10 to 20 reviews on it.
