What's the difference between a "dark" Shocker and the regular old Shocker?

wow... hottest shocker I've seen.
besides the octane .
But the Dark Shocker definitely has better milling.
Sweet!

Milling and the grip frame. I got it so I could look good while walking to the deadbox, mostly

I know, I need a new neck...I'm thinkin' Q-Lock

I've gotta use a Shocker as a team marker...and I just like how they feel =) This one is only my second, I've owned 8 'cockers, it's not all that bad, yet. Now, if I'm able to scrounge up more cash for a Freeflow and a Shocktech, then you can start hitting me with things. Until then, I just look at it as having a great semiauto marker and a great semiauto backup

I assume you mean Shocktech. Yes, they've got some sweet milling, but I couldn't find one I liked in a gloss blue, with this many up's, for the price I got it at =)

I'm hoping to eventually have a Shocktech and a Freeflow, and get each of them acidwash anno'd; Blue/Black for the Dark, Purple/Black for the Shocktech, and either Red/Black or Silver/Black for the Freeflow

This is all sometime in the future, of course. I don't have nearly the pocket change to do such a thing right now

UPS drives  brown trucks.

Why is your team forced to shoot Shockers?

-------------

Posted By: Rare-Faction
Date Posted: 17 November 2005 at 12:01pm
Not forced, we voted =)

Reasoning is, it's easier to maintain a group of markers if we're all shooting the same type; if someone's marker goes down, there's a good chance one of the rest of us will have the part they need, or failing that, we'll have a backup marker that's very similar to the one that went down

We chose Shockers because of weight, looks, and reliability; once it's set, all it really needs is a relubing of the bolt after every weekend, and lubing of the solenoid inserts and reg 2-3 times a year.

That makes sense. Shockers are expensive though. Rich sob's

Half of us don't even own a Shocker yet, until they get the money I've got them all playing with pump markers (SL-68 II's, Tracerrs, and a couple Phantoms). Really helping out everyone's game, while at the same time saving money for their team marker later

I'm team captain, by the way. They somehow voted me into that job, and I still havn't been able to figure out why

I've had no problems with mine...I get the markers set to rock n' roll, don't mess with the settings, and give them the needed maintainance, and so far I've been treated well
