Personally, I dont think a homemade barrel is a really good idea, you may feel you would be saving money, but i think its going to cost more money and time. You would first have to get the material, shape it so it would fit and have good internal, test fire, if unsatisfy continue to alter your barrel, test fire, etc... The cost from test firing alone, with the paint, and c02/n2 usage, to get the accuracy and consistancy you want would probably cost more than a new barrel itself. If you feel otherwise, than don't let me stop you
good luck

I wouldn't really recommend making your own barrel. There are so many options out there. There are loads of good barrels that are fairly cheap. You'd spend about as much or more to make your own barrel than you would to go out and buy one. And if you make it there is no guarantee on how well it will work or hold up and the accuracy factor.(no offense).

Bad Clark! You forgot to tell Rambo22 that he'd need a Dremel to shape it with and duct tape to hold it on the marker.

Ok, so you want to make a home made barrel.
The short process
First lets take a trip to metal shop, pick up some seamless T60601 aluminum rod at with at least a 4.76249 mm wall and an Diameter of at least 35.241 mm. Right, then you get a drill press with a boring bit the length that you want with a diameter of 19.251 diameter, at least and bore the aluminum as straight as you can, i suggest going a half mm less than the above to make room for polishing. O yeah, honing is next, well, then you a spindle lathe and a nice, expensive attachment, much like a glorified dremmel tool and hone the hell out of it with a at least two or three different compound, before you soap soak it and throw it into the Caustic tank, then the rinse, then the Nitric, then the Dye tank, then the rinse, rinse, Seal, rinse, seal and dry rack(the quick anodising process), you should be up to about 6-7 hours of work if you know what you are doing. yeah, I forgot the metal lathing part after the Boring part so you can shape it and thread it.
That should run you over a few hundred bucks and about 35 hours of work.
Still want to make a home made barrel worth putting on your gun!?
