haha, I used to have that book, and I loved it.

I think they even made a chicka-chicka-boom-boom 2, but it wasn't as good as the original

I loved that book Stealth.

I also feel that Shel Silverstein's The Giving Tree should be required reading in life.

My nephew had If You Give A Mouse A Cookie. He liked it quite a bit. He was in that phase where he could give the illusion of reading because he had memorized the words to the stories. His parents noticed when he could read the book with his eyes closed.

I read all those books when I was little. I even had the cassette tape that
goes with the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom book. I like the one with the
Stink Cheese Man.

Little Critters Pwns

Right now I'm reading the Narnia books. I'm on book 5 of 7. They're quick reads, but I never got into them as a kid. My wife insisted I read at least the first two before the movie comes out, and I figured why not read them all? Pretty good so far, if you keep the perspective that they're from the 40's and 50's and written for younger readers. I liked book 3 the least so far, but the reast have been ok.

I was definatly a fan of the Eric Carle books. I also watched Dark Wing duck religiously from the first episode, but have little memory of any of them. I think for some reason it premeired at like 8pm, weird for a kids show. Honestly, the only thing I can remember about Chica-Chica-Boom-Boom was sitting aroud in a circle reading it, and when the teacher was about to say "Chica-Chica-Boom-Boom" the class idiot jumped out of the circle in front of the teachers face, pulled down his pants and yelled "Chica-Chica-Fart-Man!" and cut a loud wet fart right in front of her face(with visable splatter factor) and was kicked out of class. I can't remember if we even finished the book.

He smokes a lot of crack these days.

Whoa... I memorized that book too. I recited the whole thing to my grandparents and parents... from then on, I knew I was cool.

You had to go and try to ruin a thread that was bringing other forumers memories of their childhood. Don't try to ruin others fun since you obviously haven't completed your own childhood.
