I have a 98c with a lapco bigshot 12" and a palmer stabilizer using
CO2. I want to buy the cyclone system but have a few questions. Is it alot heavier? Tips on installation, things to watch out for? Will it work with the Response Trigger easily if I get that later? I read somewhere, which may not be correct, that i need some sort of additional special screw to fasten it all together properly. Anyone know what I am talking about? :) The R/T isn't really a priority. I just want a reliable feed system. Thanks in advance for any info! |

I personally don't like the Cyclone. I think you can get better hoppers for the $. Like the Evo 2. But it's really your choice. As for your Q's. No, I don't think it's much heavier than a standard E-hopper. As for installation; I never installed one, but it should be pretty straight-forward (if you follow the directions). It is a little heavier...but you should suspect that..I don't really notice it...but see usually Electric hoppers are alot heavier because they have all those wires, motors, and batteries There really isn't anything to watch out for...except maybe when you unscrew the two small bolts to take out the old powertube be carefull cuz you can strip the inside...and it won't be able to screw in It will work witha r/t but you need to call tippmann to get a T fitting...they may give it to you for free...or make you pay a little money...idk. ------------- Setup: Tippmann Custom Pro E-trigger 12" All American BT Folding Stock GTA Inline Expansion Chamber Kit Dead on Pro seal Cyclone Feed System Remote Line Polished internals |

okay first of all the cyclone system really sucks. i hated it. it adds extra wieght and takes hopper hits like mad. my advice is you should get a much better hopper for the same price or cheaper.you dont have a e-bolt so you dont have to go to fast anyway. i have a ricochet apache lcd which rocks for a hopper. even revis work great on 98's. please take my advice and dont get the cyclone. it just a big hassle |

ya well thats why you go and buy the Ricochet R5...which helps deflect paintballs...sometimes...and plus all hoppers will take hits no matter what. Oh and how does it suck? I love my cyclone. With a super r/t and a cyclone with qev kit and R-5 hopper, you are unstoppable. I don't think it adds much weight at all, much like a regular e-hopper. The best thing is no batteries! Go ahead wade across that deep creek. Would you do that if you had electronics? The answer is no. The cyclone is the ultimate woodsball feeding system. |

| cyclones are really nice because the have no batterys or electronics and they still keep up with your fireing rate you dont need to spen $150 on da hopper that loads balls faster that you can shoot. |

Cyclones can only feed effectively up to 16. Most of the people with R/T's (he said he's getting one later) can fire past 16, as where the Cyclone would be ineffective. So sometimes you need to spend a little more $. | The R/T wouldnt outshoot the cyclone anyway. Because of the additional air use from the cyclone it would slow down the R/T so that it can keep up. |
