well the day before thanksgiving i went fourwheelin and after i brought it home cleaned it all up and stuff i went into the garage and i was takin off all my muddy clothes and i layed the 4wheelers key on my moms expedition bumper. Yesterday thanksgiving after we all i ate and stuff we went to the movies in evansville which is like 30 minuites away from my house me not knowing key was still on the bumper and my mom drives fast prolly 70MPH on the freeway. Today i was gonna go ridin and i was lookin for the key i looked everywhere in my damn house couldn't find it. I retraced my steps and everything my sister today had gone to tan and the bank. She got home and i was in the garage and i was lookin for the key in my boots and i here my mom kinda shriek kinda and i turned around and the key was still on the bumper. I was amazed and didn't even want to go ridin anymore. I don't see how it stayed on there for 2 days of driving.

pretty lucky.....was it caught on something on the bumper by any chance? mabye it could be proved by physics....since it was on the object in motion it could do nothing but remain in motion with the larger object(car).....who knows though

The same thing happened to me with a bag of candy, I put it on my moms bumper and she left. I forgot all about it until she came back and I saw it.

There was a coffee mug on my ski rack on my jeep for a while. About a week actually. It was cradled on three sides though so I can see how it happened.

What was the reason your mom shrieked again? Wait... I don't care. Nevermind.

well ya it was it wasn't really a shriek but like a surprised gasp

the bumper has grooves in it so i'm guessin that was enough to hold it.

Yea same kinda story happened to me. My moms got a big ford F-250 diesel truck. Ok well my cousin and I were messing with some laser pointer and the thing stopped working. so we took it apart. It was a laser pen so it was really long and it unscrews at the middle where the batteries are. so after we think we have the problem fixed we try to put it back together. damn thing wouldnt screw back together. So we ended up just laying the laser pointer on the railing of the bed on my moms truck. The laser pointer looked like it was put togther but it wasnt attached at the middle. So the next day my mom left and went somewhere and came back and I had noticed the laser pointer sitting on the truck. All of the pieces were together. but they were spread out a little. heres an example.

back   piece   battery &n bsp;  batter y     front piece.

Spread out just like it should be if it was put together. I thought it was pretty cool considering it didnt fall off of my moms 250 truck that you have to shift manually. it gets kinda bumpy.

Last winter i was headed to work, i had a cup of coffe with me, i put my backpack in the car and stuck my cup of coffe on the roof, got in my car and drove to work. I got out of my car and looked up and was starring at my cup of coffe..

Yeah. It was ice cold. Ruined.

Why would you leave the garage without your key?

It is the same principle as why most stuff wont blow out of the bed of a pickup.  Leaves and stuff will but most stuff wont.  When you drive there is an airpocket that is created that covers the whole bed.  So if something is on the bottom that is not something that can float it will not fall off.  I throw all sorts of crap in the bed of my truck and it never flies out.
