A rufus Dawg bolt system helped my chop issues. It's pricey though, around $30

Is it choping in the chamber, or in the barrel?

1. Try changing the paint, I have found that larger bore paint causes choping problems in the barrel. Try Draxxus Blaze.

2. If that doesn't work, your flatline might be installed wrong. If you know how to install it, and can work on your marker yourself, check the installation. If you can't take the marker to your local proshop.

its cold, paint breaks when it gets cold, especially in a flatline.  not too much you can do about that.

My guess is that you're using paint that doesn't match up with the Flatline. Do you still have the stock barrel? Or have access to an aftermarket barrel a friend may own? I would try using a different barrel and see if it still breaks paint.

Yeah I had flatline with my 98.  The balls weren't shooting right either.  I found out later that my balls were too big.  At least that what the ladies tell me.

Most all Diablo paint is sized such that it shoots well in the Flatline, but lately I have run into a problem with several different varities of Diablo paint being too fragile. A test for the paint: grab about 10 paintballs out of a freshly opened bag. One at a time drop each from about 5 to 6 ft on to a concrete floor. You should get no more than 2 to 3 breaks. If you get something like 8 breaks the paint is too fragile cycle through the marker.

If that test is inclusive trying placing one ball at a time in the chamber and fire it. If many break and those break in the breach end of the barrel it may be that the fit of the barrel in the adapter has changed. If you have never had this barrel off the marker since you had a pro install it there may be dirt or paintball residue that needs to be removed with a good hot water and dish detergent cleaning (yes, removing the barrel from the marker).

After a year or two continious use the forward bolt will sometimes wear such that there are sharp filiments in the area where the face of the bolt contacts the paintball. This will sometimes break the ball as the bolt pushes it into the throat of the barrel. May be time for a new forward bolt.

If nothing works ask some more questions. Oh, I almost forgot, if the paint is too fragile there is a way that I fixed mine. Check out  Paint Deals&"Fixing" Bad Paint

I think your right about the forward bolt because I bought my gun used from another guy and i play with it that day and it work fine... then i guess like 2 months of not shooting it because people said it got boring in my town... after which it became fun again we started playing again and thats when it started and also that day when i bought my spyder from my brother and he only used it like twice
