Is this a newer allergy or was it just not reported as much before? It's like peanuts are the new small pox. They have warning lables on products made in places that also make things with nuts.

Yeah, I was reading the label on a jar of peanut butter once and it said "WARNING: May contain peanuts."
Sometimes you see the warnings on things you never would have thought to contain peanuts, and sometimes you see them on things that OBVIOUSLY contain peanuts.
It's like "CAUTION: HOT!!!!" on fast-food restaurant coffee.

If it just might contain peanuts, I don't want to know what else is in it. |
I think its on twix bars that it says "Warning, may contain nuts"

Lots of things have it.
Next, we'll see "ALLERGY WARNING: May contain dairy products" on cartons of milk.

It's kinda funny if you think about out. Just imagine the funeral....
Priest Guy: "We are gathered here today to mourn over the loss of some
chick that had her last kiss of death. And in that kiss was a peanut butter
aroma which she allergic too..."
Mother of chick: "Curse the Peanut Man!!!!"
ya....lame. isn't it?

Doesn't that hospital have benadryl? Seriously, its harmless enough that you can pump quite a bit into someone before their blood pressuse bottoms out.
It sucks for everyone, though. I wonder if there was a criminal investigation.

I heard on the radio that the police brought in several suspects. But after a short investigation, Grimace, Hamburglar, Nesquik Bunny, Cap'n Crunch and Little Caesar were all exonerated and released.
Mr Peanut was held for questioning, and released on his own recognizance, but told not to leave town as the investigation is ongoing.
Mr Peanut leaving the court building.

That's messed up.
Supposedly there was a kid in my school that was so allergic to peanut butter that when someone opened a Reese's cup on the other side of the classroom, he had a minor reaction to it. A few of my teachers refuse to hand out Reese's cups around Halloween and such because of that.
I think it's so wierd that some people are violently allergic to things that other people can eat every day and be perfectly healthy.

my grandmas like that. if someone even opens a bag of nuts on a plane shes on it would give her a reaction. if i ate peanuts and gave her a kiss on the cheak her airway would be closed in just a few mins.
