If I could have reached the phone from bed I'd have called in sick today. Not because I'm sick, but I have other issues that make work less than appealing. I felt a powerful need to stay in bed and wait for those issues to go away. Not that they would. -------------

I don't think it would ruin your appetite unless your stomach is weaker than Mike Tyson's grasp of language.
Work isn't so bad. I actually get to read a lot. I just read A Million Little Pieces, by James Frey. It's about his rehab from his drug and alcohol addictions, and it's a very good book. James meets some interesting people while in rehab, people that make some of his outside legal troubles vanish. Now I'm reading the follow-up. My Friend Leonard. Leonard is a mobster who became James' surrogate father while in rehab. He seems like a good guy, considering his line of work. -------------

^Wasn't that book on the Oprah book club, my mom just finished reading. I was planning to read it after her but I picked up "The Lost Boys", good book in my opinion about a psychiatrist dealing with kids.
I plan to read A Million Little Peices and some others during winter break when I have more free time. |

I'm not sure if it was in Oprah's book club or not. My wife read it because she's been really into reading books like that due to her job, and she thinks it's probably one of the best books she's ever read. I got the second one for her and she read it in two days. -------------

I'm reading this book for english class. It's called Night, it's a book
by a Holocaust survivor and he recounts everything that happened to him
while he was in concentration camp. Pretty good book. We also get to
have a living Holocaust survivor come in and talk to us later on in the
semester.
