The only 2 barrels that add distance, are the flatline, and the Apex. So if you want longer range, try one of those.

Apex>Flatline. The Apex can do everything the Flatline can and more... better than the Flatline can too.

Yea the flatline is an
awesome upgrade...And it doesnt really matter the
length of your barrel...The only two barrels that do
add range are the flatline and the apex...I personally
choose the flatline...

I also own a flatline and they do work great as long as you dont mind to put some time into them. Just install and get them set up right and match well with paint and you will be good to go. If your using Co2 though i would highly recommend a palmer stablizer to help with consistency

You're going to have to make a choice between the flatty or apex.

Flatty's are slightly cheaper: Approx ($100)

Apex ability to curve in any direction: Approx ($150)

so if money is an issue i would go for the flatty.

flatline. thats what im getting from the money from christmas. there a 160 canadian so its really expensive. i got hit with 1 and didn't know where it was coeming from because he was outta range. he let me shoot a few balls after and it has great accuray and shot really really far.. watch out thuouh the make your gun feel front heavey if u have a cyclone on ur 98c but yeah i would defiently go wit a flatline

Apex:unacurate but lighter than the Flatty it also can curve in any direction

Flatty:Heavy and you do have to mach the bore size if you want really accurate results but when you do it's very accurate

Flatline is more accurate and cheaper than the Apex but it weighs more and the Apex has the ability to curve in any direction, it has the same (i think) range as the Flatty but with it's poor accuracy i dont think it will hit anyone at 200ft in woods.if you match the bore size of the ball to barrell on the Flatty then it will be even more accurate.

I have had a Flatty and they are great i guarantee you will get uset to the weight and maching bore sizes. The Apex will dissapoint you so go with the Flatline.

Edit: Sorry about the double post

what whould happen if ur changing the curve of the barrel on ur apex and sum 1 come behind u and bunkers you? or u go to ur local field and they won't let u play wit it... get a flatline no hassel wit changing the curve and every field lets u play wit 1.

simple hold up ur hand and yell stop, then adjust your barrel aim at him and yell GO! where u both unload your hoppers on each other...

The apex barrel can curve in any direction, but if you had a real good aim you could tilt your flatline at an angle and shoot curving paitballs from your gun. I don't know if it would work but since it comes out W/ backspin upright, you could curve it aswell.
