Not exactly. The flat trajectory doesn't give you much of an advantage because you're so close to the other team anyway. A regular barrel will be just as good or sometimes more accurate. If you are comfortable with the Flatline though, it's not like it's wrong to use it. -------------

Preferbly, no. You really don't need the added range. As where you do need accuracy, which is what the Flatline lacks. If you're planing on buying a new barrel for tourneys, I'd suggest either an All American or Lapco Bigshot.
