just wondering which air system would be the best to get for my a-5, which one would be better for price vs performance?

well, there both great airsystems, but its really your choice personally i would go on http://www.actionvillage.com - www.actionvillage.com and go to nitro systems, and then find a 68/4500 fiberwrapped tank and make sure it has high output (750psi+), there both good brands.

i would get a bigger tank but my store only fills tanks to 3000psi

   He can't. New, a Crossifre 68/4500 runs around $200, same for a PMI tank (actually the Pure Energy (PMI) tanks run a little more (I'm talking new)).

Even if this were true, you get what you pay for.  I'm happy to spend that extra $20 that my Centerflag cost me over buying something else.

Crossfire, Nitro Duck, and Centerflag are all way better quality than PMI/PE.
