Well you have a decent price jump, from ACI guns to CCI guns. Stock class requires you to pump after every shot and tilt the marker forward to engage a paintball. Hornets and Mavericks are gravity fed which wouldnt work to well, unless you did some homemade mods to them. I'd go with a Phantom, but they're kinda pricy especially if you wont be playing stock class that much.

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

I'd go with the phantom.

NASA and the Americans spent millions of dollars and hundreds of hours to develop a pen that would write in space.....The Russians used a pencil.

What he said. With the exception of the Phantom in true Stock Class configuration... the other pumps you listed wouldn't qualify as true stock class, given their feed assemblies.

I have all that you've listed. ACI Hornet, PMI Trracer (Maverick is a clone), PMI Tagmaster (Hornet clone), Phantom VSC and C-3. They're all good pumps. So if you're just looking for a decent pump, the Hornet or Maverick (Deluxe model) would be a good pick given it's low cost. But if you want true stock class... you'll need a Phantom with a stock-class breech.

I've owned/shot/played with 'em all except the C3, and I'm still in love with Phantoms It just really doesn't get better for the weight, style, and price

Although, if you wanna get really technical, a Phantom isn't true stock class...no barrel porting or autotrigger allowed. But really, that doesn't matter. Pump is fun, no matter how it's done =)

Id say Phantom. I have one and its never failed me. Accurate stock barrel so
you dont need to upgrade that and its so versatile so if you change your
mind and you want to use a hopper than you can switch very easily.
