Saw this on another forum and thought you all might like to see it. It
was built by Viper 1357. Here's what he had to say about this
monster:

"While not breaking news or even anything that exciting, I am happy
to have finally completed my latest A-5 mod. The reason I named it
Nemesis, and what makes it unique for me, is that It's not a replica
of anything. I actually had to use some creativity (which I lack
extensively) to make this mod up. I've been replicating military style
mods for years, but this is my first (and last) attempt at creativity. It
took 9 months to complete, and needless to say I'm already tired of
it. It was truly my Nemesis. It is a self contained Co2 unit, so no
remote or external tank. With a 75 round Tac Cap, it has a realistic
look (sci-fi anyway) and feel. It can be used with or without the
M203 grenade launcher and M68 Thunder grenade. While I have not
fully tested it, (it better work) I am confident it will work and fit my
needs well."

Forgive me for posting this Viper but something this radical deserves
to be seen!

That has got to be the biggest waist of money I have ever seen.

Its not even intimidating, if I saw I guy walk onto a field with that it would be like a big sign on his back saying "shoot me, the guy with a gun as big as my torso."

How can any of that bulk help your performance at all whatsoever.

I like the sci-fi-sim. Way cool.
I wouldn't do it to my gun, but whatever floats your boat.

Oh, and if you put that gun on a balance you weigh it, not way.
And if you uselessly spend money, it is a waste, not waist (which is where your belt goes).

Viper has obviously put a ton of work into his gun and to be honest,
he's done an incredible job with it. It different than anything I've ever
seen anywhere else and I see no mistakes, no shoddy work
anywhere. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but hey, at least give
him credit for having the creativity to put something together like
this.

Think about it....

Real guns weigh upwards of 8lbs.... some go as far as 30lbs....

and they do just fine.

Awsome job Viper... thanks Nauzer for posting it for him.

Maybe if you're fighting in the civil war. Modern firearms are getting lighter and lighter. Most weigh in at under 8lbs. The M16A4 is one example. It weighs about 7.5lbs. And with composit materials being used more and more, that's on the heavy side.

I really don't see how this is at all amazing. The "self-contained co2 unit" doesn't seem too practical. It's probably just a 12g changer. Even if it is something really custom, the thing probably doesn't even have the capacity of a 3-4oz co2 tank. So you've got an A-5 which is a natural gas hog, and a launcher that's using the gas too. Great, he took a gun that needs a high capacity air source and gave it a low capacity one. A launcher isn't anything new either.

so what if it weighs as much as a M-60?

it would scare the crap out of most people who play against him

also doubles as a shield

That is one of the coolest aesthetic modifications I've seen so far.  If the launcher is detachable, that makes it even better (especially, if half the marker front detaches with it.  Very unique and cool.
