i oiled my gun VERY WELL (honestly i think to much, but i didnt think that would be a bad thing) about a month before i played yesterday.  i have an a5 with a new jj ceramic 16' barrell.  i used the same successful paint as usual, but yesterday the balls kept chopping and therefore being destroyed as they came out of the gun, i never had this problem before.  could oil in the chamber moistened the balls to make them break prematurely or is there something else going on?

Check to make sure your paint isn't dimpled or old. If it did in contact with a liquid they might have swelled up and broke in you barrel. If a ball broke in the bag in may wreck the other ones.

The jj ceramic can shoot through breaks.

The oil isn't your problem. The problem is most likely the paint. What temp were you playing in? Temp has an adverse effect on paint.

If you over oil an A-5, dry firing should get most of it out. You can field strip and wipe down the internals with a paper towel. Sounds like you have bad balls, crush one and see if it went with too little force. Make sure you assembled everything properly if you broke it down to oil it. You can just put some oil in your ASA and blow it through the marker with the barrel off to oil the A-5. If it is not the balls make sure your cyclone works properly, if not, call Tippmann.

Think and give them all you have from the beginning, and never weaken!
