I just got my new ion from county paintball today and I LOVE it. Although it is my first electronic paintball gun and I have a few questions about it. Could someone explain what rebound mode is, and what dwell is. Also I haven’t yet hooked up the macro line I need to buy another fitting, and I ordered a tank cover but it won’t be here for a few days.

Rebound mode is fire once on pull and another time on release of trigger.  I am not sure what dwell is.  Nice gun.

Dwell is how long the solenoid stays open. Usually changes your velocity,
though the pressure adjustments are easier.

Speaking of which, get a different reg.

Yes. And Dwell is measured in Milliseconds (MS). And I'd just leave it alone. It comes factory set, so you shouldn't have to touch it. And nice Ion.

That's not rebound...Rebound on an Ion is basically Ramping...I blieve it ramps at around 6bps...And if you don't adjust your dwell correctly you will get horrible effiency... http://www.zdspb.com/ - Look here for all your Ion needs, one of THE best sites to use

That's really high. You'll waste gas and battery power. And you'll lose cycle speed... a lot! Adjust it so it is just high enough to cycle consistantly at the rate of fire you use. Your rebound mode is ramping. Once you reach the threshold rate of fire, the board will add shots so the rof boosts up to the ramping speed. I believe it's set at 15bps from the factory. The threshold rof should be around 4-6bps.

Obviousley you don't know what you're talking about, out of the box it should be that high, if you get a QEV I believe somewhere around 12-20...Mine was at 16.

Sureshots correct. You have to have your dwell at about 40-45 no lower no higher. HOWEVER instead of getting a trigger. Just stick with that one for a lil and QEV it. MUCHO moreo effinchioso

98% of ion owners think ions are better than any high end gun. If you would like to bonus ball these idiots put this in your sig.
