Get the cyclone, that's what I got for my custom pro. It keeps you from having to 'shake and bake' the gun in the middle of a game. I'm also getting a r/t or E-grip later on, and the cyclone can keep up with both.

Then get the r/t or E-grip. I recommend the r/t that way you don't need to waste money on batteries. And for your barrel, get the J&J Ceramic.

Get the egrip for it. Then you can see a difference and is tournamnet legal.

what is the difference between a e-grip and e-trigger and i highly advise to get a e thingy lol and if you are a big spender and have the money but a boomstick which is the BEST barrel even though you most likely wont keep your tippmann forever i will because it was my first gun but that a personal choice the stock custom pro barrel will last you a while its a good one but if i were you i would save for a e-grip then you can switch for field wood speed and other tricky **edited**

ok so we all know what to get for a tippmann 98 pro what about a 98c i already got the response and a new barrel

Posted By: P8ntBall3r

As i mentioned earlier im not a big spender and i have not much money. And e grip is nice but to expensive and a boomstick is way to **edited**ing expensive for a barrel.

This ClassifiedBuyers Paintball classified ad is for a NEW Tippmann 98 Low Pressure System. Change your Model 98 to a low pressure system with this bolt-on part. Lower pressure provides for more consistent cocking, less ball breakage, and greater long-range accuracy. A must-have for anyone running HPA on their Tippmann 98 Custom!

Man, I'd love to help, but I can barely read any of this. I have a collapsable M-4 style stock and love it. I also love my response trigger, as it lets me dial in exactly what rate of fire I want to use. I use it to fire off quick 3-5 round bursts(at about 5 or 6 bps) without wasting a ton of paint like full auto does.

how do you tune in your r/t? and i think CAR stocks are a waist

Posted By: Sixgun77

You tune the r/t by turning the screw on the fitting that adjusts rate of fire.

You can't see throught the iron sights on a paintball gun while wearing a mask because you can't stick your face against the stock. Without a stock the sights are pointless because sticking your face to the same exact part of  the stock every single time you shoot is as important as breathing control and trigger squeeze when it comes to accurate shooting.

There's only one adjustment screw on a r/t. It's in the back, at least for the a-5. Tighter is slower. I think it's 17 BPS max if the gun and hopper can keep up.

if you have it loose can you like hold it and have it like full auto? and you cant put it into bursts can you like 2 but thats what its supposed to do

I know how to shoot a gun im a recreational hunter and the same basic principles apply between a real rifle or a paintball marker. But i use the co2 tank as a stock and the sights are fine. I agree that with a stock they would be a lot better but im still not sure if i want one.

Purely a matter of preference. I'm just more comfy with than without, especially since using a stock and keeping the tank on my back with a remote does wonders for the weight.

Yes, you can tune it and find a "sweet spot" to hold the trigger at. That will be in effect full auto fire.

You can very easily fire 2 round(or more than two round) bursts by not holding the trigger in the sweet spot, but instead slowly squeezing it all the way through it's range of travel.

I do woodsball and speedball so a remote and a stock arent exactly good speedball choices but there nice for woods ball. Are they easy to install and uninstall depending on what type of game your playing that day?

The remote and stock so far haven't caused me any trouble playing speedball. I prefer woods but nobody at the field here will play woods. The remote makes it a little difficult to hold the gun in my left hand for the run to the bunker at the start of the game but that's it. It's very easy to install, the remote comes with a fitting that screws into the gun where the tank would. The tank screws into a fitting with a valve on one end of the remote cable, the gun end has a quick disconnect cable. I alwasy carry two tanks and two cables zip tied together so that if I run out mid game I just pop off one line, clip on the other, and open the valve. Or I sometimes toss the extra tank to a needy team member.

A LPK has nothing to do with C02.
