I know that there is some variability and subjectivity but hear goes. In an average woodsball game how many balls does one go through on average (per game)? One would think that as someone gets to be a better and more experienced they would become more efficient with their paint. They would spend more time positioning ones self for high percentage shots than wasting paint on shots that have little or no chance of a kill. Would you say 300 balls? More? Less? |

depends on the type of gun, i usually go through maybe 2 hoppers, it also depends on how many people you are going against what role you play also effects, a runner would go through more paint then a defender.... there are a lotta factors that'll effect how much paint you go through. ------------- 98% of ion owners think ions are better than any high end gun. I usually go through around a hopper at most....but I play more of save my balls in both instances so I don't like freak fire or just waste my balls. I've had scenario games where I've shot 2 cases in an hour (8,000 rounds). I've also had games where I haven't shot one ball. It all depends on what you have for a marker and what your playing style is. I carry 3 pods and a hopper in most games. Thats 650 rds. I will go through that in a speedball game, playing woods I might go through that much if I am laying down suppression fire or what not.

Playing a game of woodsball, say, 8 vs 8, if the game lasts about 10-15 mins each round, then i would say that per round you'd b using around 100 balls or less if you're firing a semi auto constantly. Regular play with the A-5 1 hoper a game. I use more paint in woodsball than I do in speedball. I would say that I use half a hopper in speedball and then probably a full hopper in woodsball. As long as you aren't one of the people that will just spray and pray at bunkers in speedball, i think it should be the game with the least amount of paint used. -------------

| i play woodsball all the time (it the only thing i play) and usually go through 600 in about 3 hours...but i luv playing up front and bunkering people....but some of my teammates only go through 200...its all about the situation, number of people, and your position...so i suggest buying a case of 2000 and going out and at the end of the day see how much uve went through and estimate how much u wuld go through next. |

I usually carry 700 rounds on the field with me. At our local field( or atleast it used to me by local field it closed)we played attack and defend a lot. Its gonna vary on how you play if your extremly aggressive your gonna use more paint.
