So I'm in the market for a new loader, but I don't need something terribly fast or expensive as I'm going to be using a stock 98 custom with a J and J ceramic barrel. I was almost set on a Revvy or Egg, but I also saw Odyssey TSA frontman and backman loaders. I recall reading a review on Odyssey loaders a while back and I just wanted to know what you guys think. Let's just keep it between the Revvy and Odyssey frontman for now, because if I have the money, I'll go with the Egg. Otherwise, I'll look at what you guys think. Thanks for the help.

There both good hoppers, and can feed about the same. So it's really personal preference. I'd personally go with the Revvy, just becuase I like VL loaders (some of them).

I have the 12 volt revvy. They're good hoppers and they fit into a reasonable budget. I've hear good things about the richochet, too. But, I've never seen one in action. Maybe someone can back me up on the richochet loaders...

This might sound a bit stupid, but I wouldn't get a ricochet- they're ugly as hell. I mean, I'm all bout performance, but if it's gonna make my gun look like someone just took a **** on it, I'll look for something else. I like the way the Odyssey and VL loaders look and they perform well, so that's probably what I'll go with, but thanks for trying to help. You said you like your Revvy? I like that they don't cost an arm and a leg and I won't outshoot it.

Hehe, well, to me looks mean little if its not doing the job I payed for it to do. The only problem with the Revvy is the lid. They put this clear, rigid plastic piece that cracks in cold weather. I'd either get an extra just in case or try to put a different plastic cap on the hopper. I lost 2-3 months playing time because of that broken lid.
