as long as the tank you got is high output like 800psi, all you have to do is follow these easy instructions...

  • step one- screw it in

THE END

If you buy a low pressure tank, your going to need the LPK, otherwise, screw it in, and go shoot em up.

You need a high pressure tank to run your Tippmann unless you have a low pressure kit.  Even if you have a low pressure kit, high pressure tanks will give better performance.

Good brands include Crossfire, Centerflag, PMI.  With your RT I would make sure your tank puts out pressure at the high end (tanks vary from 750-850, depending on brand).  You will have an easier time sweetspotting your RT with a tank at 850 than at 750.

It depends on how much you shoot. I could go all day on my 47/3000 if I forced myself to. I doubt you would want to limit yourself that much though. I know I would hate to. So a bigger/higher pressure tank will hold more air. Estimate how many shots you think you will want before having to refill, then go from there. If you get all day air then you wont really have to worry about paying a lot for refills.

How much paint do you shoot in a game?  How much paint can you possibly carry in your pack at a time?   Do you want to have to refill after every game?

Wow, I never had any experience with HPA, but refilling every other game...wow

I guess I don't shoot much because I never even bring any extra paint....I am generally close to running out of paintballs at the end of each game with just my 1 hopper full.  But I just play woodsball with 8 or so people...

A 68/4500 will give about the same number of shots as a 20oz. CO2.  Not quite as many, but close.  It is also close to the 20oz. in size (a little fatter).  All my tanks are 68/4500.  With your CP you should get 600-900 shots, depending on specifics.

An 88/4500 will give you quite a few extra shots, and the tank isn't THAT much bigger.  If you don't have convenient fills, that may be a better choice.
