You have a meneuverability test?

Mine was like "turn left up here....ok, now right here.... parallel park behind that truck.... ok, now pull out"

and you have to do everything by the book. The dude me and my friends got is nuts about mirror/ shoulder checks, at the end if you even missed one he'll go on and on about how if you get rear ended you'll break your nose on the wheel, and how much it hurts and how much you bleed, etc.

The only part I was nervous about was the parallel parking, but we're allowed 3 moves, I got in perfectly in one move, the rest was a piece of cake.

We didn't have to parallel park. I didn't even have to do a three point turn. Just backing into a space, and driving.

the test here is soooooooooo easy. it was like *starting at the DMV* ok turn right. go down two blocks, make a left. go up one block, turn left. along three blocks made another left. and wouldn't ya know one more left then a right into the parking lot. we made the block basically.

My test was driving around for 20 minutes with a fat guy named Mac.

Passed, didnt tell me my score, didnt care.

I dont even think he was really keeping score, he was too busy talking about.. ludities and smoking his unfiltered cigerettes, he was awsome.

lets see, I got a 97% in the classroom test.

A perfect score at the secretary of states test.

on the manueverability and handling course we were allowed to lose 5 poinst, I lost 4 and with 1 point to spare I exicuted a perfect parrallel in under 10 seconds.

20 points to lose on on the driving course, I lost 2... One for answering a question incorrectly, and the other for not slowing down at a railroad crossing...

All in all, 1 try.

1 try.

The guy who did it had me turn the AC up all the way for some reason and opened all the windows.

Anyway, the hardest part was doing straight in parking. You were supposed to park within the posts, which were in really bad positions. They were each 1/2 ft inside the lines and 2 of them came about 3 feet into the road. The road was narrow as hell. When I parked my left mirror was right between the posts.

I took 2 tries. The first time I'd have had it but when we parked at the end I pulled through to the spot ahead of me so I could just pull out in drive when I left. The guy freaked out on me and started scribbling madly, telling me not to do that, not to EVER do that.

I still do it.

He docked you points for that?  That's pretty weak.

I passed on my first try, and then promptly wrecked my mother's car.

Me:  "Uh, I've got some good news and some bad news.  The good news is that I got my license..."

1 try. I didn't know this at the time but I apparently took the test from one of the hardest graders in the Eastern portion of the state. My mom was cofused when her friend said 'Oh North Bend is an easy place to take the test from.' Apparently what was REALLY said was 'Don't go to North Bend, it's not easy.' So she schedualed me at NB but I still passed the first time.

Got it first time.

Mine was easy. Pull out of space. Drive over there. Stop. Get up to 30mph and come to a stop. Make a 3 point turn. Go back. Re-park in the same space.

Congrats, you got it.

It never fails that if there is a double slant (aka, each side going a different way) the side opposite of the one I pull on will have an open spot right up front.

What are the ages for everyone?
In ohio we can get our temps at 15 and a half, and license at 16.

I passed the first time, I had to drive through cones, go to the right, stop with the back bumper within a foot, backup, and stop with the front bumper within a foot.  THen I just drove around the block.

    *        *

Wed drive through the middle, theyd say left or right.
The cones were 9 ft apart. Easy enough.

One for car One for Bike.  Car was a joke cause it was soo easy.

Drive around the city, hop on the highway get off, go parrele park in town, do a three point turn in some residential thrtue some one way streets back to the parking lot and park (your choice front in or back in).

Did that in the EASIEST vehical to drive i have ever owned 1999 ford ranger and aced it.

THe Bike one was kinda hard doing the slow speed tight turns and sutch but i got perfect on that.  Only got docked for one high speed corner. Supposed to do it at 30 without hitting a cone.  I did it at 45 and scaped the pegs and exhaust on the bike but kept control and never hit a cone .  ONe persone faile BAD cause they lost control of the bike during the emergancy swerve test hoped a crub and launched the bike into the grass feild and the rider went flying .
